Time Series Analysis · Agentic Systems

Hi, I’m ChengAo Shen (沈骋骜), currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the University of Houston under the guidance of Professor Jingchao Ni. Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computing Science from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2024. I am actively engaged in research on artificial intelligence, with publications in top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP, IJCAI, and ICLR. I also serve as a reviewer for NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, and TPAMI.

Research interests#

My research explores how the knowledge encoded in large pre-trained models can be turned into practical systems for real-world data. Specifically, my research interests include:

  1. Time Series Analysis: Improving how temporal data is modeled for forecasting, classification, and anomaly detection, with a focus on multi-modal approaches and on efficient, deployable models.
  2. Agentic Systems: Studying how to strengthen the capabilities of agentic systems, such as causal reasoning, and how to keep them running stably and reliably over long horizons.
